About the Role:

We are seeking a highly energetic and outgoing Community Manager to join our team.

You will be responsible for interacting with our customers, content creators and affiliates, followers, and other external stakeholders for our group of brands.


This role will involve posting on our social media accounts, sourcing and managing content creators around the world, and being the first point of contact for incoming customer queries.

The role is estimated to require 6-8 hours of work per day,


You will be joining a small but diverse team and working alongside and reporting to our Marketing Specialist and to brand founders directly.


This is an exceptional opportunity to join a rapidly growing company and would suit someone who loves interacting with people online, has a strong social media skill set, and is generally bubbly, chatty, and fluent in English.


Responsibilities, to be Split Across Multiple Brands:

  • Post to social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and possibly others) according to a defined schedule, and following instructions & guidelines provided by our Marketing Specialist
  • Proactively engage with people on social platforms by commenting, liking, reposting, and following relevant feeds. Respond to comments and incoming messages on social platforms in a timely manner to maintain a high level of customer service and community engagement
  • Be the first point of contact for incoming customer enquiries and respond or escalate as appropriate, using Gorgias or other ticketing systems
  • Periodically source new content creators to work with, that are representative of our brand images, to create content inline with our marketing strategy
  • Liaise with new and existing influencers to arrange for products to be shipped, and request content to be created. Execute timely and continual followups to ensure the assets have been posted and provided to us
  • Manage customer reviews, approving, following up or escalating as appropriate
  • Periodically update social media related apps on our Shopify platforms
  • Manage, transfer and synchronize data between key platforms like Shopify, Klaviyo, and Meta using spreadsheets, CSV files or similar nontechnical means.
  • Systematically curate and organize usergenerated content (UGC) for ready deployment in marketing campaigns, ensuring a seamless integration of authentic customer voices into our promotional strategies
  • Execute various daytoday administrative tasks essential for the smooth operation of a DTC ecommerce brand, ranging from order management to customer relationship upkeep using Shopify and related apps.

Requirements:


  • Experience in social media community or digital marketing, preferably for a brand or agency, with a strong background in the beauty industry
  • Proven ability to understand Gen Z and North American pop culture and aesthetics, with a keen visual eye
  • Experience in DTC/ecommerce marketing and with Shopify is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fastpaced, highgrowth startup

  • Strong independent thinking ability combined with an unwavering attention to detail in execution
  • Ability to work within a team involving marketing, graphic and video designers, copywriters and content creators
