Det'on Cho Logistics is a Northern company focused on supply chain and human Logistics primarily for the resource sector.


We are establishing a System Operations Control (SOC) Centre that will serve as the internal and external communications hub for our company.

Some of the core duties of SOC will be to coordinate the booking and tracking of flights, priority freight movement, load preparation, manifesting, and reporting.

We are seeking an experienced logistics lead who is passionate about customer service delivery to assist in the development and launch of this new department.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will play a key role in helping to drive our continued growth by providing the highest-level service to internal and external customers while promoting continuous improvement and a positive team environment.


This is a hands-on position where you will take an active role in client - vendor - employee relations, support, and service delivery.

The Lead, SOC Centre requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics and customer service delivery.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist with the development of all aspects of SOC and maintain a close connection to the daily operation and the needs of clients and vendors.
  • Provide guidance and direction within SOC, promoting all corporate and operational objectives.
  • Ensure the SOC team is set up with the ability to monitor system performance daily and provide status updates and reports to leadership and the operations teams as required.
  • Identify potential and actual operational issues and risks and take corrective action by coordinating daytoday issues and following problems through to resolution.
  • Provide handson support as required to maintain proficiency and consistency in all areas.
  • Ensure information is relayed to all internal and external parties regarding all irregular and unplanned situations that may arise and impact the delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain an organized, structured and welcoming SOC work environment.
  • Assist with coordination of all SOC areas, insuring they are functioning as one with communication.
  • Ensure proper staffing levels are maintained at all times.
