About the Role:


We are on the lookout for a dedicated Product Owner to join our Digital Case Management Services (DCMS) product team.

This team is focused on delivering, supporting, and continuously improving DCMS across various government program areas.

As a Product Owner, you'll play a crucial operational role, working alongside an empowered multi-disciplinary team to deliver maximum value from our digital solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

Integrate Departmental Needs: Collaborate with the DCMS Product Manager to weave departmental business requirements into the product roadmap.

Translate Vision into Action: Convert the Product Manager's vision into detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with delivery team efforts.

Backlog Management: Oversee the product backlog to maximize the development team's value delivery.

Sprint Alignment: Ensure sprint cycles and tasks align with the strategic direction set by the DCMS Product Manager and Project Director.

Operational Design Contribution: Participate in designing and optimizing operational processes for DCMS's lifecycle maintenance.

Stakeholder Engagement:Maintain openness and transparency with stakeholders regarding DCMS's design and development progress.

Enhance Communication: Develop and maintain efficient communication and feedback channels with clients.

Documentation: Create and disseminate technical documentation and release notes for DCMS.

Agile Methodology: Champion Agile practices for product delivery, including daily stand-ups, sprint management, and continuous improvement using tools like Jira.

Collaborative Innovation: Foster collaborative relationships across government and with various stakeholders to innovate and enhance DCMS.

Promote Modern Work Practices: Advocate for internet-era ways of working within a multidisciplinary team.

User-Centric Development: Dive deep to understand the comprehensive needs of users, stakeholders, and partners, guiding the development of DCMS to ensure it remains valuable, usable, scalable, and feasible.


Qualifications:


  • A Bachelor's Degree with six years of related experience, or an equivalent blend of education and experience, is required.
  • A proven track record in product management, including simplifying complex services and prioritizing product backlogs effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage highlevel tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication skills, capable of inspiring a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • A selfdirected approach, comfortable working in ambiguous situations and making informed decisions.
  • A strong focus on customer service, building relationships based on empathy, trust, with a usercentric approach.
  • Demonstrated problemsolving skills, with an ability to diagnose issues and develop effective solutions.
  • An adaptable mindset, eager to learn new technologies and methodologies.
