Responsibilities:


  • Answers, evaluates, and prioritizes requests for assistance from users relating to hardware, software, networking and other communication technologies e.g. telephone, voice mail, AV, and mobile devices. Provides technical support and problem resolution across company in person or over the phone Handles problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow up, referring more complex problems to supervisor or technical staff. Test fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolved Install, setup and configure computer and communications hardware and software for adds, moves, changes and upgrades. Creates network accounts, changes, and deletions in AD environment Log Helpdesk interactions in the ticket system, including follow up with endusers to ensure complete resolution is logged Maintains appropriate documentation for team and end users Support IT Equipment lifecycle tasks, including deploy, upgrade, repair, replace and decommission, and maintain up to date inventory Maintains knowledge of current technological developments/ trends in areas of expertise. May review and make recommendations on proposals for hardware or software acquisitions. May liaise with software and hardware vendors to request service regarding defective products.

Requirements:


  • Computer/technologyrelated degree,
  • 14 years of relevant computer experience,
- proven ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) or equivalent combination.

  • Indepth knowledge of MS Operating systems, O365, and networking principles
