Department Overview
- Lead a group of operational functions and activities via Team Leaders/Operations Officers/ Analysts/Specialists within a unit and provide guidance, leadership, coaching and development to ensure operational results and professional/personal development objectives are achieved for the overall group.
- The Manager, Access Management demonstrates governance, control and risk management behaviors that align with TD policies and practices to drive accountability of team deliverables.
- You support the successful delivery of Access Control initiatives by:
- Participating in the problem statement articulation, planning, execution, and project management activities
- Developing, collaborating, and executing on tactical plans that align with the Risk & Control framework
- Identifying, supporting, and offering creative solutions to key operational or process issues across the broader team
- The accountabilities of the role include:
- Direct the reviews and updates of processes and procedures
- Prepare documentation in support of internal and external audit requests
- Support tasks involving the review of triple validations and maintenance of standard role documentation
- Coordinate with business, technology partners and control teams to remediate issues
- Connect with various partners to understand new access control requirements
- Address issues with speed and know what issues to call out
- Lead initiatives to improve the Risk & Control framework
Job Requirements
- Experience in Access Management processes and controls
- Ability to articulate Risk Management concepts to business and technology partners
- Solid understanding of IT security risks, processes, controls and communicate at a technical level
- Experience with leading a team and providing direction to others as a specialist
- Experience with providing advance analysis and/or specialized reporting to support business partners
- Experience with preparation of audit deliverables
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Perform duties under mínimal supervision that range in varying levels of complexity
- Strong Excel skills
- Sound analytical skills with the ability to problem solve and 'think outside of the box'
- Able to connect with a diverse group of partners at all levels of the organization to make an impact
- Outstanding problemsolving capabilities and an ability to collect and analyze data and provide insights
