Overview:


Responsibilities:


  • Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and prioritize collection efforts.
  • Maintain accurate records of collection activities and communications with clients.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes related to customer accounts.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure timely resolution of issues affecting payment.
  • Prepare and submit reports on collection activities, aging accounts, and overall portfolio performance.
  • Maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor when dealing with clients, recognizing and respecting their individual circumstances.
  • Continuously review and improve collection strategies to optimize results.
  • Stay current on industry best practices and relevant regulations.

Requirements:


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections or customer service.


  • Bilingual

  • French/English
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with collections software is an asset.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices.
