DISTRICT OVERVIEW:


  • McNally International is a privately owned heavy construction company that specializes in tunnel and marine construction. McNally is recognized as Canada's leading Tunnel Contractor, with experience building tunnels with a wide range of tunneling methods, for end uses including utilities (water, sewer, steam, power transmission,) and transportation (subways, traffic pedestrians walkways). On the water we boast one of the best equipped construction fleets in Eastern Canada; able to successfully handle a wide variety of marine construction jobs effectively and efficiently.

LOCATION:


  • This position is located in Port Hope, Ontario

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Preparing shift/daily or weekly reports
  • Completion of daily hourly employee timesheets
  • Completion of daily equipment timesheets
  • Procurement of temporary and permanent materials
  • Support for Project Engineer (if applicable) and Superintendent(s) as required
  • Completion of daily time and material sheets for claims process

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Education Requirement
  • Related College Diploma or University Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technician
  • Past construction experience considered an asset
Experience Requirements- Knowledge of MS Office Products.

  • Experience with scheduling software is considered an asset (P6, MS Projects)

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Construction project based position

  • Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
  • Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
  • FIELD ROLES ONLY May work at various different locations and conditions may vary

Base Compensation:
$66,000/yr - $77,000/yr
