We are seeking an experienced screenplay formatter to convert a completed studio-formatted PDF screenplay into a professionally structured Final Draft file.Responsibilities
- Convert provided PDF screenplay into a fully structured Final Draft file
- Ensure proper industry-standard formatting: Scene headings Character cues Dialogue blocks Parentheticals Action lines Transitions Proper pagination Maintain all spacing and structural integrity exactly as provided Preserve all SFX and MUSIC cue formatting Ensure character naming consistency including talent lines formatting Deliver a clean error-free production-ready Final Draft file Formatting Standards Required Courier 12pt Final Draft default Proper screenplay margins No formatting drift No auto-corrections No rewritten text No altered wording This is strictly a formatting conversion project no editing rewriting Deadline 72 hours from contract start no extensions Failure to meet deadline will result in cancellation Compensation Flat Rate $300 Performance-based quality requirement Each formatting error discovered in review will result in a $5 deduction per error Errors include Incorrect element tagging e.g dialogue not marked as dialogue Incorrect margins Incorrect character formatting Pagination inconsistencies Formatting deviations from provided structure Missing or misplaced SFX/MUSIC formatting Any unintended textual changes Accuracy matters Ideal Candidate Experienced screenwriter or script coordinator Extensive Final Draft experience Detail-oriented meticulous Familiar with studio production formatting Able to work under tight deadlines To Apply Please include Your experience with Final Draft A sample screenplay you have formatted in FDx Confirmation that you can meet the 72-hour deadline Confirmation you agree to the flat rate and error deduction terms Important This is a professional production script Precision is mandatory Only apply if you are confident you can deliver a flawless FDx file within 72 hours Contract duration of less than one month Mandatory skills Proofreading General Transcription Scriptwriting Film Screenplay
