Environmental / Civil GIS and Planning Position
Position Overview
Responsibilities will include:
- Participate in projects and crossfunction projects with the team.
- Field work and data analysis involving soil, groundwater, waste, surface water, and wildlife management.
- Attend meetings, workshops, presentations, and project site tours.
- Attending and assisting with client and regulatory meetings
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Environmental Science, Geography, Surveying or Engineering, or a related discipline with an emphasis on or major in GIS
- Minimum one (1) year of experience working with GIS.
- Experience with renewable energy preferred.
- Familiarity with environmental compliance, assessment, and permitting legislation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Embrace change and innovative ideas.
- Must be comfortable interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to travel within Canada, the USA, and globally.

$45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
