Position Overview:


As an administrative assistant with Davey Tree you will get to wear many hats and get involved in several aspects of the business.

You will act as a point of contact at the office for staff and customers and will assist the local management team administratively.


Job Duties:


  • Supporting payroll process by collecting, transferring, and processing timesheets and vacation requests
  • Maintaining various databases and spreadsheets
  • Processing billing and invoicing for different clients

Qualifications:


  • Minimum one year experience in office processes and administration procedures
  • Preferred: working experience with SAP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Access and Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Outstanding telephone and communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Expert organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Numbers orientated and excellent math skills
  • Great aptitude for developing and maintaining relationships with clients and staff.
