Position:
CAD/REVIT Technician

ETO Engineering has an immediate opening for a CAD/REVIT Technician with 2-5 years of experience who will be able to assist project managers and senior engineers with day-to-day assignments.

The job responsibilities of this position include the following:

• Contribute to water and wastewater infrastructure projects, such as site development, pumps and piping layouts and multi-discipline engineering drawings.
• Responsible for preparation of drawings using
  AutoCAD and
  REVIT with high quality and accuracy in collaboration with project managers and engineers.
• Coordinate with a multidiscipline project team.
• Review drawing submission to ensure compliance with clients' drafting standards.
• Responsible for material and quantity takeoff.
• Actively participate in the design and provide input to the design team throughout the project
• Ensure the drawings are issued and filed in an appropriate manner.
• Provide regular work status updates.
• Develop expertise and stay abreast of development in drafting skills

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements

• College diploma in civil/process engineering or any other training deemed equivalent with 25 years of relevant experience in municipal infrastructure design
• Understanding and knowledge of water and wastewater treatment facilities and processes
• MUST be proficient with Autodesk products.
• A desire to work under pressure and in a fastpaced environment in an engineering firm
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of engineering principles and standards related to assigned engineering discipline
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office package, Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam.
• Ability to work as part of a team and on an individual basis.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with project team and stakeholders
