    Position Overview


    This position is responsible for being the face of Trans Global Service, demonstrating enthusiasm while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction

    Responsibilities

    • Provide customers with courteous and professional in-home servicing of all furniture ensuring adherence to "The Perfect Call"
    • Repair of case goods, flats, and upholstery products with the support of experienced technicians
    • Order parts and ensure inventory supply levels are sufficiently maintained
    • Communicate with customers regarding details of the assessment and servicing required
    • Complete all service documentation, describing repairs in detail and reporting identification of repaired stock
    • Ensure the proper maintenance of shop tools and vehicles
    • Adhere to all health and safety, security, building and departmental procedures

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Furniture repair and woodworking experience would be an asset
    • Confident in the use of hand tools
    • Valid driver's license (must be able to provide a clean driving abstract)
    • Outstanding Customer Service skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Professional and courteous phone etiquette
    • Punctuality and dependability a must
    • Must be organized and detail oriented
