Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, we are looking for a Junior Project Coordinator to assist in delivering business improvement projects during established operational construction projects.

With an assigned Project Manager and a unique project team, the Project Coordinator is responsible to assist in overseeing all phases of a construction or maintenance project from initial planning through to handover to Operations.


There will be regular setting expectations & overseeing project's administration, including cost controls, planning, scheduling and the preparation of manufacturing drawings.


This is an entry-level, temporary position for our Vancouver area and you will be required to work on sites in

Vavenby, Chilliwack, Kamloops. LOA will be provided.

What will you be doing?

  • Continually striving for zero harm on all projects and a strong safety commitment.
  • Support the District Manager in the development and implementation of all plans and systems needed to complete the project effectively and efficiently.
  • Keep in constant communication with clients, ensuring their needs are met and be ready to negotiate to maintain a profitable relationship.
  • Work with general foreman to expedite and coordinate site resources needed to effectively execute the work including subcontractors, material, construction equipment and labor.
  • Review and integrate technological opportunities.
  • Ensure that daily and weekly shortrange planning is maintained down to the foreman level.
  • Understand and perform document control functions in accordance with company policy and procedures, including creating RFIs, composing agreements, and maintaining project expediting list.
  • Build effective relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and user groups that reflect and support core company values.
  • Assisting in estimating/costing projects.

  • Strong ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain accurate and organized documentation.
  • Professional tradespersons Mechanical or Electrical engineering degree.
  • Knowledge in the mechanical/piping or electrical/instrumentation sector including shutdown/turnaround execution, long term maintenance programs, operations coordination, equipment management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office preferred.
  • H2S Alive.
  • CSTS.
  • Standard First Aid.
