    POSITION OVERVIEW
:


DAILY OPERATIONS

:

Oversee, support and assist the client's manager, i.e. the Supervisor in performing tasks related to Jenoptik' contractual operations obligations as a priority at all times including;

  • Ensuring zero downtime of production and test systems within contractual obligations
  • Customized reporting for clients
  • Assist client staff with any issues related to using our deliverable and/or appliances
  • File and manage support requests with internal and external suppliers
  • Provide IT related environment information to suppliers after consultation with the Head of Operations
  • Ensure customer program integrity at all times, prevent of any information leaking from the centralized facility and the dedicated closed network unless authorized in writing beforehand by the client(s)
  • Documentation and detailed recording of any 3rd party support activities
  • Perform backups regularly, ensure backups serve for its recovery purpose (including disaster)
  • Manage the virtual machines and its environment

DAILY OPERATIONS (CONT'D)

:


  • Replace hardware components as needed
  • Test new software and/or hardware revisions, deploy software and/or hardware once tests have been passed successfully
  • Liaise with internal and external suppliers to troubleshoot and rectify centralized facility IT issues
  • Training of client staff as required on operating any IT appliances used by clients (software and hardware)
  • Management and supply of consumables per Jenoptik' contractual obligations
  • Guidance/mentoring of Jenoptik' staff, develop Back Office System/Image Processing technology and business related staff skills
  • Foster a sustainable positive team spirit based on respect, trust, appreciation of good work performed
  • Document in writing processes, work flows and sequence of associated tasks including any interfaces
  • Foster a first time right and zero error attitude, culture and track record with the client
  • Report client needs and demand to senior management, engineering and suppliers
  • Monthly reporting for billing purposes
  • Work exceptionally during the weekend if circumstances so dictate or the client demands

INSTALLATIONS -SUB CONTRACTORS

:

Manage and supervise all aspects related to the hiring of subcontractors to perform IT services including;

  • Prepare and provide contractor responsibility and specification documentation for quotes based on specification provided by appliance experts
  • Prepare and provide rack and networking drawings for hardware installations and wiring
  • Review quotes and negotiate pricing for new installation and/or emergency work if required
  • Initiate Purchase Order requirements
  • Receive, unpack, Install and wire hardware according to specifications
  • Oversee installations and ensure all projects are completed to company standards
  • Audit and document compliance with company standards regularly
  • Complete IT deployment audits on completion of work and verify deficiencies are completed in a timely manner
  • Review and approve contractor invoices

SYSTEM/IMAGE QUALITY

:

Responsible for all aspects related to system/image quality which is directly related to positive revenues and the financial success of the program, the duties of which include:

  • Maintain system quality to industry security and performance standards
  • Assist with Image Quality reviews of any data processed
Report on demand on numbers based on filters for the data base as instructed


CLIENT SERVICES

:

Responsible for developing and maintaining a positive working relationship with all clients including;

  • Maintain and monitor compliance of Jenoptik' centralized facility activities to ensure RLC Program confidentiality obligations at all times
  • Maintain availability to ensure all client needs in relation to operational issues are met on a timely basis and inquiries/emergencies are responded to quickly
  • Periodically touch base with the client's manager and staff to ensure client satisfaction related to issues
  • Provide timely updates to rectification of client concerns/requests related to operational issues
  • Create detailed work plans which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete tasks
  • Provide facts driven written reports internally and to clients after authorization by your supervisor related to operational issues when required. Refrain from any vague statement(s) that might contribute to jeopardize the integrity of the RLC Program or its technology used.
