    As a Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for directly supervising our Fuel Delivery Drivers. Your goal will be leading the daily operations of the fleet in the assigned area of business while promoting and enforcing all safety initiatives. Your success will be determined by your ability to solve problems using creative solutions coupled with a strong passion for our customer.

  • Your Responsibilities:

  • Recruit professional drivers and develop orientation and training plans.
  • Provide continuous coaching and feedback, administer performance management process and follow progressive discipline procedures.
  • Engage in employee retention and satisfaction initiatives, including wellness programs.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures; recommend and implement improvements and changes as needed.
  • Develop and manage drivers' schedules including vacations, meetings, extra shifts, etc. to ensure all shifts are covered and drivers are executing planned loads.
  • Manage injury and incident reporting; assist with investigation and resolution.
  • Promote personal and environmental safety and achieve established goals and collaborate with Environment, Health & Safety.
  • Establish budgets, support key performance indicators, and achieve maximum fleet utilization.
  • Support external customers by addressing concerns, promptly resolving issues, and maintaining commitments and internal customers by fostering relationships, collaborating with dispatch and fleet management, and advising management as appropriate.

  • Your Experience:

  • Post-secondary education and/or equivalent operations or distribution experience, with a customer service background.
  • 2-3 years' experience in distribution and/or operations.
  • Minimum 2-3 years leadership/management experience.
