Description
Responsibilities:
- Conduct cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
- Analyze blueprints and other project documentation to identify costsaving opportunities and potential risks.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and vendors to obtain accurate pricing information.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely cost estimates to clients; assist in creation of invoices and payment structures.
- Provide information regarding local safety regulations, building codes and accessibility guidelines for projects.
- Review project budgets regularly and provide cost analysis reports to management.
- Keep uptodate with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to cost estimation.
- Adjust costing and budgets as per addendums and changes in design and architectural specifications.
- Support management in scheduling, procurement, basic CRM.
- Demonstrate professionalism by maintaining a high degree of integrity, ethics, and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as requested by ownership and management.
- All functions via Office365, internal ERP and QBO.
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Highly sociable, courteous, and professional.
- Proficiency with software related to cost estimation such as Autodesk, Planswift, Bluebeam, Procore, Buildertrend, etc.
- Exceptional math, writing and communication skills.
- Organized and detailoriented under the pressure of tight deadlines and budgets.
- Proficiency in modern digital organizational and enterprise resource planning tools.
- Experience with formal Health & Safety and Human Resources policies and systems an asset.
- Understands the importance client/B2B data and information confidentiality.
- Willing to learn and grow with a dynamic, forwardthinking company in an everchanging, highdemand industry.
Training:
- Bachelor's or associate's degree in engineering, construction management or related field.
- CCP, EVP and/or CEP training an asset.
- Experience managing budgets and expenses.
- Experience developing internal processes and digital filing on cloud systems.
- Exposure to the manufacturing or construction industries an asset.

Pay:
$65,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
