Description

Responsibilities:


  • Conduct cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Analyze blueprints and other project documentation to identify costsaving opportunities and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and vendors to obtain accurate pricing information.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely cost estimates to clients; assist in creation of invoices and payment structures.
  • Provide information regarding local safety regulations, building codes and accessibility guidelines for projects.
  • Review project budgets regularly and provide cost analysis reports to management.
  • Keep uptodate with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to cost estimation.
  • Adjust costing and budgets as per addendums and changes in design and architectural specifications.
  • Support management in scheduling, procurement, basic CRM.
  • Demonstrate professionalism by maintaining a high degree of integrity, ethics, and confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as requested by ownership and management.
  • All functions via Office365, internal ERP and QBO.

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:


  • Highly sociable, courteous, and professional.
  • Proficiency with software related to cost estimation such as Autodesk, Planswift, Bluebeam, Procore, Buildertrend, etc.
  • Exceptional math, writing and communication skills.
  • Organized and detailoriented under the pressure of tight deadlines and budgets.
  • Proficiency in modern digital organizational and enterprise resource planning tools.
  • Experience with formal Health & Safety and Human Resources policies and systems an asset.
  • Understands the importance client/B2B data and information confidentiality.
  • Willing to learn and grow with a dynamic, forwardthinking company in an everchanging, highdemand industry.

Training:


  • Bachelor's or associate's degree in engineering, construction management or related field.
  • CCP, EVP and/or CEP training an asset.
  • Experience managing budgets and expenses.
  • Experience developing internal processes and digital filing on cloud systems.
  • Exposure to the manufacturing or construction industries an asset.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent


Pay:
$65,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
