We re excited to share that our control center is hiring a full-time Operator to join the team.Responsibilities
Monitor control and operate the power system facility assets fulfill AltaLink s interconnection requirements operating the system in accordance with AltaLink Transmission Operating ProceduresMonitoring adequate voltage element loading implementing preventative corrective action minimize violations Assessing impact implementing corrective actions required restore system stable state minimum risk Prepare safely carrying planned emergency switching procedures power system Provide information concerning state logging events including changes components configuration recording disturbances trouble Compile information prepare reports documentation updates compliance evidence incident investigations business justifications customer operating metrics etc Assist ACC Training Specialist implementation Operator Training Program providing technical expertise mentorship Participate user acceptance testing ACC tools technology provide SME expertise feedback Interact internal business partners external customers utility partners promote collaboration positive relationships excellent customer service Participate continuous improvement activities duties assigned Demonstrate key behaviors meet identified expectations outlined four cultural pillars - one team continuous improvement customer focus personal accountability
