Job Summary:

Under moderate supervision of the Group Supervisor or Senior Chemist, prepare samples for LC MS MS analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing test solutions, extrations, and reagents for conducting LS MS MS tests
Analytical weighing using microbalance, serial dilutions, multiphase extractions knowledge is required
Maintain clean and organized workbench area ensuring spills are immediately cleaned, disposal is according to laboratory procedures
Ensure that equipment is maintained in good order making the Supervisor or group leader aware of any damaged or defective equipment or any equipment requiring adjustment
May be asked to work in other areas of the laboratory when require.
Able to work under pressure safely, with mínimal supervision

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry or College Dimploma
Academic background in analytical chemistry and oneyear laboratory experience with an emphasis on qualitative and quantitative analysis is desired.
