Become a part of our international Sales & Business Development team at one of our locations in Calgary, Canada. For the next possible date we are looking for you in fulltime (40h/week) as Sales & Business Development Manager


Your tasks and responsibilities:


  • The Sales and Business Development Manager role includes but is not limited to:

Leading, Coordinating, and reporting all Sales & Business Development activities relating to new and existing key accounts, target clients and industries.

While this is a Canada focused Sales and Business Development role, the role requires global reach to include the deugro network and be responsible for all activities relating to the Business Development and support with other strategic clients as agreed.


  • Achieve growth and hit the company sales targets by expanding customers portfolio
  • Identifying emerging markets, market shifts
  • Tackling target prospects/clients with regular sales activity reports
  • Build and promote strong, longlasting customer relationships
  • Writing up offers and proposals to clients
  • Present sales and profitability reports and realistic forecasts to management
  • Administration and support in daily business activities in a global business environment
  • Supporting management (local and regional) in reporting, etc.

What you can contribute:


  • Compliance with all MOT/MTQ, and Customs regulations (Canada, US and Foreign)
  • Knowhow in freight forwarding; experience in ocean freight, incl. breakbulk, is an advantage
  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a comparable position within a Project freight forwarder
  • Proven track record of success in Business development and sales achievements
  • Familiarization with current software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Good organizational skills, customerfocused with attention to detail
  • Excellent communications skills (crossfunctional and crosscultural)
  • Fluent English skills, both written and verbal
