You'll get the chance to work with metal products using a large variety of tools and machines, including drill presses, grinders, welding machines and more.

Not to mention, you'll interpret blueprints, drawings and other written/verbal instructions and then weigh in on project scope and requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Check measurements and dimensions of each piece that is being worked on with measuring tapes and micrometer's.
  • Review blueprints, drawings, and work orders before starting work on fabrication and during steps to ensure accurate completion
  • Operate fabricating machines such as grinders, benders, milling machines, and lathes and welders.
  • Make templates for common work tasks for the fabrication process to ensure a set standard of work quality.

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Asset_**:
  • 2 years' experience in fabricating steel and welding experience needed (TIG)
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency.
  • Proficient in MIG, TIG, stick for steel, SS.
  • Required_**:
  • Basic mathematics skills.
  • Ability to work with hands, lift heavy objects and work standing (but don't worry, we have the BEST anti fatigue mattress ever made).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Permanent, full-time position (40 hours/ week)

  • Day shift, Monday-Friday
  • Salary based on experience
  • Group benefits after 3 months completed
  • Pension plan with employer contribution after 1 year
