The Behavioural Health Foundation (BHF) is a therapeutic community providing long‑term treatment for adults experiencing substance use and co‑occurring mental health concerns.BHF offers holistic programming integrating individual counselling life skills development adult education employment readiness family healing Indigenous Services Traditional Teachings Ceremonies within a trauma‑informed framework Outreach team supports members transitioning back to community life.
The Counsellor plays a vital role supporting healing accountability personal growth in an interdisciplinary team environment guiding residents engaging with the community fostering insight responsibility connection recovery strong clinical judgment reflective practice evidence‑informed short‑term counselling interventions typically delivered over six to twelve sessions.
