  • In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Manage all stages of the learning lifecycle including learning strategy, curriculum design, content development, delivery support, measurement and maintenance
  • Bring new ideas and innovative approaches to build out a worldclass learning strategy and solutions for Questrade's Tech Academy to meet the evolving needs of the QTG and strategic business priorities
  • Lead the development and roll out curriculum development using program management and project management best practices
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge and research emerging technologies, trends and innovation in learning (social, virtual, blended, etc.)
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the Technology leadership team, HRBP and OD Training team
  • Ensure learning solutions demonstrate best practices in adult learning principles and the 70/20/10 framework
  • Ensure cost effective and quality learning and development programs are developed and delivered that meet priorities and objectives within established budget and timeframes.
  • Develop and maintain reporting and analytics to track the effectiveness and impact of learning.
  • Monitor individual deliverables and provide relevant and timely reporting on status, progress and established KPIs
  • Evaluate and measure training programs and methodologies
  • Identify, engage and partner with vendors and service providers to deliver learning solutions that are to standard and meet business objectives
  • Lead projects related to learning and development. Establishes standards and tools for projects and manages vendors, contracts, resources, and capacity planning.
  • Provide coaching and development, establish goals, objectives, and assess performance of participants and program.
So are YOU our next Tech Academy Lead? You are if you have
5+ years of proven work experience in Learning & Development in the Technology fields (e.g. Software Engineering, Architects, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Cloud Infrastructure, etc.)
Post-secondary degree in a related field
Demonstrated ability to manage large, transformational or complex programs with multiple stakeholders, deliverables, timelines and competing priorities
Early adopter of new trends, technologies and methods for delivering training to a variety of learners and learning types
Ability to communicate, negotiate, influence and build collaborative relationships at all levels of the business and with vendors
Ability to adapt positively to a changing environment and manage shifting priorities
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects/programs/deliverables
Strong communication, project management, organizational and leadership skills
Demonstrated breadth of thinking
Expertise in consulting, presenting, facilitating, and influencing stakeholders to adopt recommended learning solutions
Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing business conditions
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to qu
