Job Title: Detention Officer

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy individual to work as a detention officer. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals in custody.

The role involves monitoring prisoners frequently and irregularly, including the use of CCTV. You will also assist RCMP members in prisoner searches under direction.

In addition to these duties, you will be responsible for organizing meals, recording prisoner activity, and maintaining a prisoner activity logbook.

Qualifications

• You must be 19 years or older
• You hold a valid Basic First Aid Certificate (Occupational First Aid level 1 or equivalent)
• You can obtain RCMP Reliability Clearance (this may take up to 6 months)
