Position Description:

The Human Resources Assistant assists with the administration of the day-to-day of the human resources functions and duties.

He/She carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas:
employment, payroll processing, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, workplace health & safety and office administration.


Key Job Duties:


Recruitment:

  • Setting up new hires employee files and maintaining filing system.

Payroll:

  • Inputting new employees into attendancemonitor machine and keep tracking of working hours.
  • Calculating employees' weekly working hours and reporting to superior for payroll purpose.
  • Keeping record of the payroll data and making corrections for any pay discrepancy.

Administration:

  • Being incharge of store level office supplies and make purchases online when required.
  • Maintaining employees' personal file in office storage and locating designated files when needed.
  • Helping coordinate HR related activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be Bilingual, proficient in both
    Mandarin and
    English.
  • Related education or work experience in Human Resources or a businessrelated field.
  • Excellent computer skills with and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Basic understanding of Provincial Employment Standards and Legislation.
