Job Title:
Clinical Research Assistant

Reports to:
Dr. Sam Hanna and Practice Administrator

Location:
Dermatology on Bloor, 29 Park Road, Toronto, ON, M4W 2N2

Roles and Responsibilities:

Process bloodwork and ship samples in accordance with established policies and procedures
Electronic data capture entry: meticulously enter data collected from study visits into appropriate database
Use a database to assist the lead research coordinator with patient recruitment
Follow up with Principal Investigators for completion of documentation
Assist the Lead Research Coordinator responding to any audit findings and implement approved recommendations.
Prepare and turnover examination rooms for study coordinators.
Maintain and order study supplies.
Assist coordinators in the facilitation of patient visits.

Qualifications:

GCP / ICH training
Relevant research experience in a busy private practice or hospital setting
Willingness to undergo sitespecific training
Phlebotomy training preferred
Data entry experience preferred
Experience using electronic medical records (preferably Accuro) and the Microsoft Office Suite
Positive attitude, selfstarter, good team player
Strong attention to detail

Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour
