As the first point of contact for the office, this role requires sound administrative, organizational and customer service skills.
You will respond to a range of enquiries equipped with a sound knowledge of the work area, using discretion, tact and diplomacy when communicating.
You will also use your creativity to work with the Office Managers in New York and Boston to plan events and communications to build employee connectivity and engagement.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
General administration and office management- Order, receive and maintain office supplies, snacks, catering- Maintain kitchen area, plants, conference rooms- Coordinating mail and courier deliveries- Create work orders and liaise with property management- Manage and book travel for contractors and external parties- Managing office budget and related expense claim management and reconciliation
Event planning and employee engagement- Plan and execute events such as happy hours, in-office, offsite and virtual activities and events- Facilitate employee connectivity in the office and providing employees with the resources they need- Assisting with onboarding new hires, researching and implementing new tools, processes and practices- Distribute new hire kits, holiday gifts and donations- Support employee recognition program administration
Other- Support with People and Culture projects related to office spaces and hybrid work
