LOCATION:
Haldimand and Norfolk
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent
- One year in medical secretarial studies certification, or equivalent
- One to two years' related experience to be familiar with scope of position or equivalent previous experience
- Excellent keyboarding skills (60 wpm with 95% accuracy
- Demonstrated commitment to client safety and client partnered care
- Excellent skills using software (Microsoft Office
- Word, Excel, Outlook), capabilities in data entries and searches
- Experience in using various social media platforms
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Critical thinking and problemsolving skills
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and other agencies in the community
- Basic understanding of all relevant legislation including PHIPA
RESPONSIBILITIES:
(Duties include, but are not limited to)
- Greet visitors to the office, provide telephone reception, answer routine questions, take messages and referrals, direct calls to appropriate staff
- Post Agency news and events on various social media platforms
- Support a Youth Advisor committee
- Act as system administrator for Catalyst database
- Input and maintain statistical information and general reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines
- Process incoming/outgoing mail as required
- Maintain inventory of, and order, office supplies as needed
- Assist in orientation of new staff as required
