LOCATION:
Haldimand and Norfolk


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent
  • One year in medical secretarial studies certification, or equivalent
  • One to two years' related experience to be familiar with scope of position or equivalent previous experience
  • Excellent keyboarding skills (60 wpm with 95% accuracy
  • Demonstrated commitment to client safety and client partnered care
  • Excellent skills using software (Microsoft Office
  • Word, Excel, Outlook), capabilities in data entries and searches
  • Experience in using various social media platforms
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong time management skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Critical thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and other agencies in the community
  • Basic understanding of all relevant legislation including PHIPA

RESPONSIBILITIES:

(Duties include, but are not limited to)

  • Greet visitors to the office, provide telephone reception, answer routine questions, take messages and referrals, direct calls to appropriate staff
  • Post Agency news and events on various social media platforms
  • Support a Youth Advisor committee
  • Act as system administrator for Catalyst database
  • Input and maintain statistical information and general reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines
  • Process incoming/outgoing mail as required
  • Maintain inventory of, and order, office supplies as needed
  • Assist in orientation of new staff as required
