    Description

    Position: Sr. Finance Manager

    Location: Brampton

    This position reports to the Canadian Director, Finance. Responsibilities include providing the necessary support to deliver solid financial results and business analysis for the business. The primary responsibility will be to provide finance and decision support to Sales & Marketing teams providing direction and contributing to profitable growth plans. This individual will work closely with the local functional business partners and global business unit finance teams. This role will require active involvement in the month end, forecast, and annual planning cycles. This individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Corporate policy, collaborating with other business unit finance leads and implementing BP&A process improvements. This position will have one direct report.

    Duties include:

    · Divisional business advisor with P&L ownership and oversight

    · Oversee all month end closing, forecasting and budgeting cycles

    · Responsible for all aspects of the monthly management reporting process

    · Analyze and review customer P&L's

    · Review product profitability / category profitability

    · Investment spend analytics and decision support

    · Drive accountability for achieving financial targets

    · Ad hoc projects as assigned

    Qualifications:

    · Bachelor's Degree with Accounting Designation

    · Minimum 10-12 years of applicable experience in Accounting/Finance field

    · Supervisory experience

    · Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to build relationships and influence people across all levels in a matrix organization

    · Strong business acumen, business partnering experience

    · Comfortable working with multiple functions/ management levels

    · Effectively prioritizes multiple demands and heavy workload

    · Strong analytical, data modeling, variance analysis and problem-solving skills

    · Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relational database tools

    · Ability to analyze large amounts of data and present complex information in simple terms

    · Experience in setting up new processes to reduce complexity

    · Significant track record of independently driving initiatives and taking responsibility for delivering stated outcomes regardless of challenges encountered

    · Personal qualities: Detail-oriented, resilient, results-driven, proactive, resourceful, positive, collaborative

    Preferred Qualifications:

    · SAP experience

    · Oracle Hyperion Financial Management
