What you'll do
:


  • Drive participation in Provincial Health & Safety Programs, coordinating directly with industry and government representatives, and ensuring execution by store operations teams.
  • Deal directly with regulatory inspectors where required, and provide guidance to compliance monitoring team and store operations on regulatory visits and closure, including review and approval of action plans.
  • Provide advice and guidance to compliance monitoring team on store compliance risk assessments.
  • Lead and measure success and sustainability of provincial safety programs, collaborating with compliance analytics team to ensure appropriate performance measures and data are being captured.
  • Regular review and monitoring of national regulatory trends related to OH&S, identifying gaps and trends through regulatory inspections, safety inspections, compliance monitoring assessments; leading to updates of programs, policies and procedures as required.
  • Identify, approve, and partner with store operations and field partners to ensure the implementation of required corrective actions to address customer and associate accident trends, as well as program deficiencies identified in compliance assessments and inspections.
  • Collaborate with compliance training & communications team relating to communications, alerts, and tools for educating stores and operations partners on OH&S matters. ‎
