Prep Cook

Essential Job Functions:


  • Prepare food to the chef's specifications and to the menu
  • Work with other associates in preparing food and in maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen
  • Complete daily prep list
  • Follow the recipe guidelines, procedures and standards of quality
  • Safely operate and maintain all kitchen equipment
  • Follow proper food safety procedures
  • Clean and maintain workstation, equipment, and utensils
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Prep Chef

Experience:


  • At least two years of experience as a prep cook or similar role
  • Knowledge of kitchen tools and their uses
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety procedures and sanitation requirements
  • Working knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and cooking techniques preferred (but not required)

Salary:
From $18.00 per hour
