Job Title
Syndicate Operations Analyst


What will you do?

  • Work jointly with Syndicate Desks and Trade Support to manage the execution, maintenance and settlement of syndicate issuances
  • Municipal, Investment Grade, Asset Back, High Yield & CLO syndicated new issuances where RBCCM LLC holds a lead role
  • Wire monies for the settlement of syndicate issues, and payment of any deal related vendor invoices
  • Prepare final settlement letters for underwriters on Lead managed issues. This includes collecting expenses, creating p&l and final settlement letters.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate recording of all deal transactions, statistics and specifics.
  • Adhere to Standing Orders for payments, fund disbursement, and remain versed/aware of internal funding limits.
  • Liaise externally with DTC, MSRB, attorneys and Custodial Agent Banks.
  • Process and record transactions for comanaged deals (checks, wires, ACH)
  • Work closely with colleagues in Settlements, Funding, Trade Support and Municipal Finance

What you need to succeed?

Must-Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Arts or equivalent
  • Typically requires at least 4 years of relevant industry and operations experience, expertise and relationships.
  • Knowledge of DTC, Middle or Back Office Background
  • Attention to detail and client focus
  • Distinguished written and oral communications skills
  • Knowledge of various financial products
  • Excel skills required, PowerPoint / Word proficiency helpful
  • Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities
  • Assertiveness, initiative, leadership, strong work ethic, selfmotivated and team focused
  • Ability to work in an environment with varying volume and complexities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Solid experience with DTC, ADP and ICI helpful, but not required.
  • Intimate working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with heavy Excel preferred

Job Summary


As an Analyst, you will partner with various Syndicate desks and Origination team members, including Bankers, Underwriters, Traders, Sales and Trade Support.

There will be interaction with Compliance, FINRA, MSRB, DTC, CUSIP (and other applicable internal and external entities) to coordinate the issuance and settlement of corporate and municipal underwritings.
