Facility Maintenance - Markham, Canada - Dyma inc

Description

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment, facility and machinery
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs
• Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work orders as per defined SOP's
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
• Assist other departments when needed

Experience:

• Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
• Strong mechanical knowledge
• Proficiency in electrical systems and plumbing troubleshooting
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively in English
• Health Canada Security Clearance would be an asset

Salary:
$18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
