Warehouse Worker

You will be working with a staff of 7 supporting sales in B.C., USA and our branches across the country.

The duties of the warehouse are picking, packing, receiving, storing of Stainless Steel and a range of steel fasteners. We also process material such as full thread studs. The successful applicant will be part of a very productive team.

This is a very busy warehouse, and we strive to provide an accurate efficient professional service to our customers and branch locations.

Your role and responsibilities include:

Filing outbound customer orders and branch transfers
Process inbound inventory shipments
Following the instructions of your supervisor
Using our system for pallet rack storage and bin stocks
Verifying inventory counts where required
Demonstrate cooperation and work with your team to ensure maximum productivity
Keep the warehouse clean and organized
Advise your supervisor to keep all equipment in good order
Do your part in maintaining a safe workplace environment

Qualifications are as follows:

Minimum of 23 years in a modern warehouse position
Some experience with fastener warehousing would be beneficial
Forklift certification. Sitdown counter balance or reach truck
In good physical shape, able to lift 50 pounds
Recent experience within a warehouse facility
Excellent interpersonal skills
Some basic computer skills
Basic math skills
Hard toe shoes

Job Type

Full time, 40 hours per week

Salary
- $24.00 per hour to start. After a 3-month probation period, full benefit package will be provided.
