Position Purpose:


Lead the development of digital and innovation strategies for the marketing and sales teams while focusing on other JTI priorities.

Manage the optimization of existing digital B2B/B2C marketing platforms, digital marketing strategies, and online campaigns while facilitating project management alignment across all stakeholders.

Develop recommendations based on internal and external factors to minimize risks and formulate digital plans to achieve long-term goals.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Develop digital marketing strategy by partnering with the appropriate crossfunctional partners including marketing, sales and external agencies to deliver CRM and loyaltyrelated marketing strategies and plans.
  • Align CRM & Loyalty strategy to business objectives and to a broader customer engagement strategy.
  • Oversee any social media channels, including developing social media content calendars, planning and developing content with agencies.
  • Analyze, research and present ecommerce B2B/B2C marketing performance reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Oversee and lead in the prioritization of work streams to accomplish initiatives and ensure the success of all execution of digital initiatives.

Required qualifications and skills:


  • Successful completion of a post secondary degree or diploma in digital marketing combined with 5+ years relevant business experience in emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, programs and priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Marketing background with a history in a regulated environment is an asset
  • Passion for data analytics and knowledge with tools/resources used to measure success (such as Google Analytics, Mailchimp, HeyOrca, Hootsuite).
  • Interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
  • Must have a strong understanding of process design and technology
  • Highly developed and proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and develop new methodologies
  • Experience using agile methodologies when conducting work
  • Flexibility and the demonstrated ability to prioritize activities
  • Demonstrated ability to be creative and effective in issue resolution by understanding painpoints (internally and externally), and the short and longterm technology and market trends that are relevant
  • An understanding of industry needs and their impact on JTI
  • Regular communication with leadership team: engage influence and align with senior stakeholders on important initiatives
  • Exceptional presentation and writing skills with ability to adapt to various audiences
