How You'll Make an Impact:

Reporting to the Senior Operations Coordinator, the Automation Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Proposing and implementing effective solutions to streamline workflows and optimize data entry and reporting processes
  • Utilizing advanced Excel functions, and formulas to manipulate and transform data as per business requirements and automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency
  • Completing order processing for retail and website orders as needed
  • Processing inventory adjustments daily while ensuring inventory accuracy goals are being met
  • Supporting the Finance and Accounting team through A/P verification, A/R support and other administrative tasks
  • Confirming Operations vendor invoices are accurate and approved within a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Who You Are:


  • Recent graduate (within the last 23 years) in a Computer Science or an Operations Management program with a strong computer science background
  • Advanced Excel user with indepth knowledge and expertise, including advanced functions, formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation techniques
  • Strong problemsolving skills with an ability to evaluate existing data management processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Previous experience using an ERP system, preferably MS Dynamics, is considered an asset
  • Familiarity with other Microsoft Suite programs
  • Highly analytical with a keen attention to detail.
  • Selfdirected learner who can manage changing priorities independently in a fastpaced entrepreneurial environment, but is not shy to ask for direction when needed
  • Very strong process orientation
  • Techsavvy with an ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Team player with excellent people skills
  • Possesses a passion for consumer electronics and an entrepreneurial greenlight mindset

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

  • NiagaraontheLake, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
