Regional Human Resources Manager to cover a 12-18 month maternity leave.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Oversee all daytoday HR operations including the HRIS system.
- Conduct investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth including but not limited to human rights, conflict and performance.
- Primary contact for all leaders and employees in areas related to change management, employee relations, performance management, human resources best practices and employee engagement
- Responsible for fullcycle recruitment including posting jobs, screening, conducting interviews and reference checks, drafting and negotiating employment contracts, and employee onboarding.
- Manage annual performance review process including supporting leadership with employee performance review action plans.
- Ensure compliance and management of employee records.
- Remain update to date on industry best practices and compliance requirements including leading changes, modifications to existing policies and programs. adopting best practices.
- Drafting employment documentation including memoranda, correspondence, reports, proposals, job descriptions and warnings.
- Resolve workrelated problems by serving as the liaison between leadership and employees through handling questions.
- Completing headcount, turnover and other reports as required.
- Manage, mentor and develop human resources staff.
ABOUT YOU
- 25 years of progressive human resources management experience is required to be successful in this role
- Post secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources is required
- Experience with all facets of Human Resources, such as disability and WCB, benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, training and development, policy and program development and implementation, diversity & inclusion, employee engagement programs, etc.
