Nestled in the south of Ottawa, Billings Bridge Animal Hospital has been providing family focused veterinary care since 1986.

At Billings Bridge Animal Hospital, we are a small animal general practice offering progressive, personalized medicine for our patients. Our large facility features 3 exam rooms, a surgical suite, treatment area and pharmacy.

We are pleased to offer our clients affordable, high-quality medicine including general and dental surgery, in-house IDEXX laboratory services, ultrasound, as well as digital standard and dental radiography.


We pride ourselves on strong communication with our clients and with our staff, supporting our true team approach to patient care.

To maximize efficiency in the hospital, our skilled registered veterinary technicians are widely utilized in assisting in treatment and surgery.

Responsibilities:


  • Build rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to and empathizing with their concerns.
  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.
  • Communicates with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs.
  • Maintains client/patient medical/surgical records and makes certain all necessary logs are kept uptodate through established protocols.
  • Stays current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine. Presents a positive image of the hospital in the professional community and to the public.

Skills and Basic Qualifications

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in Ontario. Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
