Advanced degree in quantitative disciplines (e.g., statistics, economics, econometrics, finance, mathematics, physics, engineering), with a focus on quantitative methods.

-
Technical Proficiency:

Direct experience with predictive modeling using tools like R, Matlab, Python, or SAS.
-
A portfolio showcasing advanced techniques beyond linear regression, including neural networks, ensemble methods, or other cutting-edge approaches
:

-
Innovative Problem Solving:

Demonstrable experience in transforming complex datasets into actionable decisions. We value examples of groundbreaking models you've significantly contributed to.

Strategic Influence:

Proven track record in leveraging credit score analytics to influence business strategies across the credit lifecycle (Adjudication, Acquisitions, Portfolio Management, Collections, Fraud, Loss Forecasting).

-
Communication & Leadership:

Exceptional skills in articulating complex analytic recommendations to a broad audience and leading cross-functional teams towards a common goal.

Job Functions:

As a key player in our team, you will:

  • Develop and refine our company's strategy to advance our Credit Scoring capabilities, ensuring they're not just cutting-edge but also uniquely tailored to our strategic goals.
  • Lead projects that translate advanced analytics into realworld impacts, driving the endtoend process from data to decisionmaking.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to integrate innovative modeling techniques into our credit risk management practices.
  • Serve as a mentor and leader within the team, fostering an environment where advanced modeling techniques are not just applied but also evolved.

Your Impact:

This role is not just about leading the charge; it's about setting the pace and direction of our journey into the future of credit risk analytics.

We're looking for someone who's not only adept at navigating the complexities of data but is also passionate about using that knowledge to make a real difference.

How to Apply:

Share with us:

  • Your most impactful project: What was the challenge, your innovative approach, and the outcome?
  • Examples of when you've had to move beyond standard practices to develop or refine models, demonstrating your advanced arsenal in analytics.
  • Your journey in the trenches: Describe a project you led from zero to launch, showcasing your ability to drive solo or orchestrate a team to success.
Join us in redefining the future of consumer lending through advanced analytics.

Job Types:

Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed

Application question(s):

  • Describe a complex problem you solved using advanced modeling techniques beyond linear regression. What methods did you use (e.g., neural networks, ensemble methods), and why were they chosen? Include how you evaluated the model's performance and its impact on the decisionmaking process.
  • Provide an example of a data science project you led from concept to deployment. Highlight your role in the project, the technologies and methodologies employed, and how you ensured the project's success amidst challenges. Reflect on what you learned from this experience.
