Role and Responsibilities
The Bid Support & Administration Manager (BSA) is responsible for various tasks related to the execution of specific bid-related activities during the bidding cycle.
The main function of the BSA is to assist the pricing and cost analysts in monitoring progress and performance, finance, scheduling, analysis, reporting, closing, and other bid-related activities as well as administrative tasks.
The following qualifications, without being exhaustive, indicate the type of skills, responsibilities and deliverables of the BSA within the framework of this mandate.
Role and Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the costing and pricing submissions process and financial analysts to understand the project/program schedule, financial structure, and deliverables.
- Understand, comply with and act in accordance with bid stewardship requirements
Finance:
- Carry out various guided financial actions on the team's various bids
- Evaluate performance indicators for costs/scheduling/performance of different bids
- Implement bid finance changes manage data and systems.
Schedule/Planning
- Process approval requests
- Implement changes to schedule.
- Ensure bid governance support.
- Produce/manage documentation required for various bidding ceremonies.
- Establish and maintain collaborative environments.
- Carry out administrative tasks and associated documentation.
- Participate in/produce activities to improve procedures/processes.
- Other necessary tasks.
Qualifications
- AEC, college diploma or bachelor's degree in administration or finance, combined with 2 to 5 years' experience, or equivalent combination related to project planning and control OR Diploma of Collegial Studies combined with 3 years' experience in a project environment
- Certification in project management (CAPM/PMP), an asset.
- Experience in an ERP and MS Project environment, an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relevant experience in an industrial environment and comfortable in a software and engineering environment an asset.

- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage time and multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fastpaced environment with mínimal guidance and supervision.

- Bilingualism English and French required (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of other languages an asset.
