About us
Our part-time jobs are designed for students and people with full-time jobs. There is no experience required for all our roles. We have several part-time vacancies that we will be filling with the starting salary at approximately $21.00 per hour.

The 5th (British Columbia) Field Artillery Regiment is a unit in the Army Reserve. Our Military camp is located in Nanaimo, B.C (709 Nanaimo Lakes Road).

Our unit participates in Multiple yearly training and events, including but not limited to: Ceremonial salutes outside of parliament for dignitaries and Remembrance Day as well as unit and brigade level exercises across the country and abroad.

Starting at $124.40 per day with annual increases
Growth opportunities

The primary responsibilities include:

Operating and Maintaining Howitzers and other instruments used by soldiers in the Artillery
:

Operate technically advanced computers and laser rangefinders
Operate Forward Observation Post equipment
Operate surveyor instruments and GPS

Minimum Requirements
You must meet the following minimum requirements for a career in the Army Reserves:

Be at least 18 years of age (you may be 16 years old with parental consent while maintaining status as a full-time student)
Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
