    Description

    Our client in the financial services sector is looking for a Project Coordinator to support their IT department and Product Owners in managing intake requests for product changes and new initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    • Monitor and process all new intakes and track them throughout the initiative lifecycle
    • Review all intakes for accuracy and ensure documentation is entered to the highest standards of quality to assist the broader team in solutioning and prioritizing requests
    • Collaborate closely with intake requestors, product owner teams, and tech delivery teams to resolve and clarify any details of the request
    • Provide ongoing leadership throughout the various stages of the delivery cycle, including intake, discovery, prioritization, planning, implementation, and launch
    • Offer guidance and expertise in alleviating roadblocks throughout the intake and prioritization process
    • Assist product owners with sequencing work across the platform based on estimated effort, resource availability, cross-program dependencies, and other implementation constraints
    • Monitor deadlines for regulatory and other fixed timeline work
    • Anticipate delivery risks/issues and mitigate them accordingly, ensuring timely resolution of impediments and escalating as required

    Requirements

    • 3+ years of work experience in a relevant role is preferred. Direct experience of working in IT Business Management team of a Financial Services Organization is an asset but not required.
    • Previous experience with DevOps preferred.
    • Problem-solving orientation, capable of investigating issues and proposing solutions and alternatives.
    • Solid written, verbal communication and attentive listening skills with demonstrated ability to articulate messages and document thought processes.
    • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills with the ability to tell a story through presentation materials.
