Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage the adapted bike program, ensuring it meets the needs of children with physical disabilities
  • Manage the learn to ride program, ensuring children with disabilities learn to ride bikes with adaptations
  • Oversee operations and development of the social enterprise bike shop, including financial oversight
  • Develop family support and engagement programs that provide valuable resources and community connections
  • Liaise with the program coordinator to organize and execute member events, summer camp, virtual programs
  • Work with the marketing and social media team to promote CP Kids & Families
  • Liaise with the Volunteer Coordinator to utilize volunteers within the programs
  • Ensure team members are trained and equipped to provide highquality, compassionate service
  • Foster relationships with community partners, sponsors, and other stakeholders
  • Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively
  • Ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards
  • Report to the Executive Director on program progress and challenges
  • Manage metrics, evaluation and outcome reports

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, or a related field
  • A business acumen with a strategic ability
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in program management, preferably in a nonprofit or healthcare setting
  • Experience working with children with disabilities and their families is highly desirable
  • An analytical mindset with great problemsolving abilities
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and conclude a project
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing needs
  • Proficient in computer software and program management tools
