Role Summary


The Analyst, Strategy & Operations will be responsible for supporting the organization's strategic objectives by reviewing and evaluating current operating procedures to provide data-driven insights and recommendations on how to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

They will analyze and present information on the firm's strengths, challenges, industry trends and conduct competitive research to assist senior management to solve complex problems and support strategic decision-making.

This position works across a wide variety of functional areas and teams including departmental leads, external advisors, consultants, and other third parties to ensure successful execution, tracking and reporting of projects, as well as engages with various teams on implementation.

Ultimately, this role will work with leaders and managers to improve efficiency and support initiatives that drive the successful execution of the organization's overall strategy.


Core Responsibilities

  • Gather information by attending meetings, observing workflows, reading company process documents and conducting employee interviews; determine appropriate methods to analyze operations, relevant information, and data
  • Partner with and support team members to identify operational opportunities to drive the organization's transformation and strategic priorities
  • Work with employees on various teams and third parties to develop new processes and procedures to enhance operations, train employees to use new systems or follow new policies in order to implement changes. Assess and report on the effectiveness of new processes
  • Work with business areas throughout the organization to understand the business case and primary objectives of new projects; perform gap analysis and translate findings into recommendations, business process and/or system requirements that align with Pure's strategic vision and goals
  • Develop metrics to measure and monitor business performance inline with company key performance indicators
  • Participate in special projects involving research, analysis and synthesis of industry trends, market positioning or competitive activity to form recommendations and understand impact on the business
  • Participate in quarterly planning and reporting activities, as well as various strategic initiatives
  • Prepare and present reports, analysis, and recommendations to senior management
  • Collaborate with teams across major Canadian cities in a dynamic, national role
  • Special projects as required by senior management

Required Skills and Experience

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written skills with the ability to liaise with all levels within the organization
  • Strong analytical, problemsolving, task management, organizational and facilitation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams and manage multiple priorities with competing timelines and stakeholders
  • A continuous improvement and flexible mindset
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office
  • Fluency in English is a requirement, bilingual (French) is an asset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree; Real Estate/Business/Economics specialization an asset
  • Experience using statistical and database software an asset
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge of Yardi and Yardi Elevate Suite of programs
