Position Overview:

Responsibilities:


  • Maintains, and administers Work Management systems and related databases.
  • Maintains specific interfaces between work management solutions and other Enterprise Systems or data points.
  • Maintains specific work management programs.
  • Maintains manuals, programming, reports, and databases.
  • Works closely with Database Administrator to resolve database issues and implement fixes.
  • Performs data integrity checks, data updates, and performance analysis.
  • Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves software, and system errors and malfunctions.
  • Works with the integration partner to resolve system and user issues.
  • Participates in crossfunctional teams to troubleshoot and resolve system errors and user issues.
  • Uses intermediate SQL programming logic to provide data extracts.
  • Recommends opportunities to improve daily operations.
  • Analyses data from the City's financial system (SAP) and/or Human Resources Information System (PeopleSoft) in support of issue investigation and solutioning.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:


  • Must be reliable with a good attitude and employment record.
  • Ability to support and project values compatible with the organization.
  • 3 year degree or diploma with specific training in computer systems design and database management.
  • Experience working with Oracle SQL Navigator, diagnostic and database maintenance.
  • Experience in work process reengineering with an ability to problem solve.
  • Proficient and have proven related experience in the use of PHP, JavaScript, and/or Python programming language.
  • A positive and respectful attitude with the ability to participate as an effective and collaborative team member.
  • Proven highly developed interpersonal and customer relations skills with evidence of strong verbal and written acumen.
  • Developed skills in Crystal reports.
  • Must have a knowledge of relational database concepts and be proficient in SQL scripting.
  • Excellent organization skills and be able to prioritize and meet deadlines and work with mínimal supervision.
