Marketing and Communications Coordinator, Greater Toronto Area (Remote)
Commitment: 40 hrs per week
Core Function:
Support marketing and communications initiatives for PAC Global
Reports to:
Director of Marketing & Communications
Compensation:
$40-45k, commensurate with experience
PAC Global is seeking a motivated individual with interests in communications, social media, marketing, copywriting, and website management. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST, but the schedule is flexible.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties listed below are intended to describe the general tasks of this position. Additional duties may be added as needed.
- Support the execution of marketing and communications initiatives and programs including project management and organizing timelines and deliverables (traditional and digital)
- Support the newly launched PAC MART with the maintenance and development, including campaign creation, communications, promotion, etc.
- Simplify complex Google Analytics into userfriendly formats such as graphs, charts and other visual aids for internal stakeholders and the Board of Directors
- Prepare ad/marketing copy and written content to support a variety of projects
- Support the internal PAC Global team and oversee the consent and approval process for all marketing and communications materials
- Assist with media relations to increase PAC Global's profile worldwide, including drafting media advisories, press releases, and organizing media launches/cultivation events
- Manage social media content calendar to identify engagement and visibility that supports effective program/event communications and marketing
- Assist in developing creative and graphics using Canva, based on brand guidelines
- Provide insight and feedback to the Marketing & Communications annual budgets, business plan and timelines to ensure strategic and maximum exposure to support the PAC's strategic priorities
- Provide support at signature events and other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- A university degree/college diploma in marketing/communications and/or between 13 years of experience in a similar role
- A passionate, positive, creativethinker with a cando attitude who enjoys being a part of a team and working crossfunctionally.
- A qualityfirst attitude.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately and with discretion while exercising sound judgement.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Canva, Google, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn Wordpress (or similar CMS) and social media management systems (Hootsuite or similar).
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, OneDrive, etc.)
- Excellent project management skills with an ability to organize and manage a diverse range of projects and adjust to changing priorities while maintaining high efficiency and thorough attention to detail.
- Resourceful and independent while comfortable working within the framework of an integrated development program and teamoriented environment.
- A positive, creativethinker who is enthusiastic about their work, enjoys being a part of a team and working crossfunctionally.
- Occasional travel to office, meetings and events may be required.
