CIVIL ADMINISTRATOR
At Powerline Plus Ltd., we focus on three main operations, Electrical, Civil Construction and Engineering & Design. Powerline Plus Ltd. Ltd.

provides quality solutions to public utilities, municipalities and developers, as well as to industrial, national and international manufacturing companies across the GTA.

The Civil Administrator at Powerline Plus Ltd. Ltd.

performs a variety of critical tasks and administrative functions which contribute to the success and efficiency of Powerline's Civil department.

The Civil Project Administrator participates actively and maintains ongoing relations with external clients, vendors, Civil Project Coordinators, Civil Project Supervisor's, the Billing Supervisor and the Program Manager.


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of postsecondary for Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or other related discipline
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of City of Toronto traffic bylaws/regulations and Book
  • Exceptional attention to detail with an ability to balance conflicting priorities and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a professional appearance and demeanor

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Admin role includes but not limited to the following duties:

  • Green Construction Folder Close-Out; Creating a project folder at the beginning of each job and tracking and monitoring all pertinent project documentation for successful and timely project closeout submission
  • Coordinating daily crew list with civil supervisory and managerial staff to send to clients for their reference
  • Create the Traffic Management Plans (TMP's) for al civil projects
  • Request job numbers from Powerline's Billing Department for each project
  • Liaise with utility companies for locate requests
  • Quality Checks; ensure requested area was accurately located
  • Compile and send reports to primary Locate Service Providers for overdue locates
  • Work diligently to ensure all permits and locates do not expire requesting permit extensions when necessary
  • Responsible for sending completion of projects notifications and reports to various clients for project closeout
  • Printing / Scanning / Filing / Photocopying and renaming of electronic files
  • Support Departmental Supervisors/Managers with various projects and assignments
