    theScore's sports betting app 'theScore Bet Sportsbook & Casino' delivers an immersive and holistic mobile sports betting and iCasino experience.

    theScore Bet is currently live in the Company's home province of Ontario. theScore also creates and distributes innovative digital content through its web, social and esports platforms.

    On the Data Insights & Analytics team, our mission is to develop high-quality and sustainable data-driven solutions to improve profitability, growth and the user experience.

    As an Analytics Engineer, you'll work with all the key stakeholder groups to help them leverage data to track performance, make better decisions and ultimately reach their goals.

    The ideal candidate has strong communications skills, a passion for data, a background in quantitative analysis and likely has an interest in professional sports, betting & eSports.

    As a key member of our Analytics Engineering team you will:
    Liaise with business stakeholders to identify data driven projects and opportunities.
    Collaborate with stakeholders on data modeling requests to gather and refine requirements
    Liaise with data engineers to build data pipelines and solve related issues.
    Use your SQL expertise to develop and maintain dbt models.
    Assist team members in solving data issues related to both analysis and modeling.
    Complete analyses and present clear recommendations to business stakeholders.
    Identify opportunities to apply data modeling and advanced analytics techniques to drive insights.
    University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or related field.
    ~3+ years of experience in analytics, preferably at a digital company.
    ~ Strong Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
    ~ Hands-on experience with dbt, including building models and documentation.
    ~ Experience with a data exploration tool such as ThoughtSpot, Looker or Tableau.
    ~ Ability to take complex data and present it in a clear manner to cross-functional groups.
    ~ Knowledge of analysis tools; Python preferred.
    ~ Experience supporting a business domain such as Data Science and/or Data Analytics would be an asset.
