Safety Administrator

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the safety administration and supporting the Health, Safety Manager
  • Accountable for the documentation and recordkeeping of safety related matters including safety files and records, both paper & electronically
  • Assists with the preparation of Audits, COR safety audits
  • Review submitted safety documentation
  • Assists with developing weekly safety meeting material and participates in weekly
  • Respond to requests for safety information (internal or external requests)
  • Maintain tool room supplies and order appropriate supplies for the safety department
  • Assist/perform with site visits (in Edmonton and Calgary)
  • Assit with incident investigations
  • Perform other related duties as required
  • Assist with maintain stock and cleanliness of the tool crib
  • Assist with Fleet Management

Qualifications
-
Valid Drivers License:


  • Strong MS Office skills are essential (e. Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Motivated selfstarter
  • Reliable and dependable attendance
  • Ability to participate as an effective team member, supporting departmental/organizational goals and objectives
  • Strong work ethic, organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • First Aid and Fall Protection are an asset but not required
  • Performing site visits of the roof working at heights is a requirement

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
