Position Summary:


  • We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Technician to join our Scale-Up team. The Manufacturing Technician will have the opportunity to work and support our team of engineers with the scaleup and production of cathode materials. They will also help support the execution of the expansion of our operations at a larger scale and ensure that productivity and quality targets are met at pilot phase.

Responsibilities:


  • Support pilot plant team in all aspects of cathode material manufacturing: synthesis, physical characterization, electrochemical characterization, and data analysis.
  • Support smooth running of the pilot plant and ensure that product meets specifications and quality requirements.
  • Follow Nano One safety protocols and strictly adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Assist with reaction setup, monitor key parameters, and perform sampling.
  • Disassemble, clean, reassemble and setup equipment in preparation for pilot plant production activities daily.
  • Safely handle and perform transfer of hazardous chemicals.
  • Perform accurate and detailed record keeping in logbooks, update relevant databases, and complete required documentation.
  • Collect and prepare data for analysis.
  • Participate in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols and maintenance plans.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and crossfunctionally to meet production objectives.

Qualifications:


  • Technical diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar field
years of relevant laboratory/production experience.

  • Experience in a production facility or chemical/industrial environment.
  • Experience working in a collaborative R&D team environment.
  • Handson experience with tools, laboratory apparatus and analytical equipment.
  • Organized and detailoriented individual with a focus on safety.
  • Ability to work late shifts on a rotational basis.
