Dynamic Capital is on the lookout for a candidate to fill the role of FINANCE ASSOCIATE (FA). In this position, you will collaborate closely with our sales team to support their sales and marketing endeavors. You will gain knowledge on crafting credit requests and conducting essential research and analysis to underwrite transactions. Additionally, you will manage open accounts and handle information collection for assigned accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with our Account Managers to prepare comprehensive credit applications for both brokered and internal financing transactions.
• Review, analyze, and spread financial statements and credit history reports for individual and corporate borrowers.
• Conduct research and evaluation on the collateral being pledged for the transaction.
• Complete credit applications and oversee the approval process.
• Interact with customers to gather information for credit packages and contracts.
• Engage in sales and marketing outreach to support Account Managers in expanding their customer base.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree in business is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to set goals, devise strategies, implement plans, deliver results, and perform effectively in a competitive sales environment.
• Capability to work autonomously, taking the lead with minimal guidance.
• Preference for individuals with some practical understanding of asset lending and/or leasing in the Canadian market.
• Successful Account Managers will be evaluated based on customer coverage, prospect conversion, new business volume, and profitability. Willingness to relocate is essential.
• Familiarity with equipment used in sectors such as Transportation, Oil & Gas, Forestry, Construction, and/or Manufacturing is advantageous.
• Experience in an office/professional setting is required.
